Story Telling

Photo 1 in the upper right corner is of Gillian walking toward the ball pit room.Shes got a purple bug in her hand.

Photo 2 in the bottom middle corner is of Gillian almost to the ball pit room.Shes a little more steady than in the first one.

Photo 3 is Gillian in the ball pit room sitting on the floor looking at my aunt smiling and laughing.My aunt was clapping her hands and she started laughing.

Photo 4 is of her laying on the floor.Her facial expression is her about ready to cry because shes tired.

The fifth and final photo is of her still laying on the floor.Shes laying on the floor with her eyes dropping more.

Portraits

This is Gillian at her !st birthday party.Shes painting her legs with a frosting covered spoon.Shes sitting at the kitchen table.I did the close up shots because it looked better then at a distance.I like this photo because I think its pretty cute.I shot this photo because I really wanted some pictures from her party.I think its rule of thirds because the spoon is the center.I zoomed in on the legs because the legs are where the attention is focused.Another reason why I zoomed in on the legs is because its where the action is.

These are pictures of me and my family in Wabash.The one on the left is just me and my mother,the second one is of my brothers and my mom,the third one is another just of me and my mom,and the last one is of my grandma pam and me.All these were taken in Wabash.

My Grandma Pam and Me

This is my grandma Pam and I very rarely get to see her because I cant have any contact with her except through letters.I have one big picture that was dont recently that she inspired me to do.Recently I had to do an alphabet picture and we had to chose a bible verse and chose a word from that verse and spell it out with things that were found in nature or around the house.The word I chose was FAITH because my grandma(which is her) has complete faith that I will come home.

IMA Compostition Photos

All these photos are taken at the Indianapolis Museum of Arts.The location of the first picture is the bridge towards the entrance of the fine arts part of the museum.The second photo was taken in the garden at the outside part of the IMA.The third and final picture was taken just before you walk on the path to the garden.I cant really name one as my favorite because there's two of them.One of them is the first one which is the bridge photo and I like this picture because the way the leaves are scattered on the road.The other one I like is the orange flower picture and I like that one because the leaves in the background are blurry.The compostition between these three are the first one is leading lines,the second one is rule of thirds,and the third one is also leading lines.The first one is leading lines because the road on the bridge leads you to the end of the picture.The second one is rule of thirds is because the flower is off to the bottom of the picture, and the final one is leading lines because the path leads you around the tree and kind of to the garden.

Backlighting

This photo is a photo of a really amazing sunset on the way back from Wabash.
Its back lighting because the way the sun is shining in behind the trees.
I like this photo because again I didnt mean to take it I just took it because I thought it was amazing.
















This photo is a shot of a deer out by my house.
The photo is back lighting because the sun is shining in behind the deer and behind the bush.
I really like this photo because the cool thing is that I didnt mean to take this photo as a back lighting photo I just took it because I thought it was amazing and what are the odds that you will see a deer in your yard just before you leave for school.

Me and My Mother Marlena

This is my mom Marlena and i may not get to live with her but that doesnt stop me from talking to her and seeing her.
I have supervised visits with her and supervised phone calls and yes I know it stinks and I know that people are sorry and please dont tell me your sorry because I understand and why I dont want people to tell me theyre sorry is because it just makes me upset that much more it makes me cry that much more.
I think I might be closer to going home though and Im so excited because my mom finally believes me.

Action Photography

The element of my picture is action photography.
Its action photography is when you take a picture of someone in action for example this is Kirstin blowing a bubble.The location of my photo is out by the basketball court.
I think this is a good picture because the idea is really clear and its clear that its an action photo.

Repetition

The element of my picture is repetition. Why the scissors are repetition is because the scissors idea is repeating.I think this is cool because again its random.

Framing

This picture is framing because the Frisbee golf ring is framing the little tree in the woods.

Framing is an object is framing another object like in this photo the Frisbee golf ring is framing the little tree in the woods.

The location of my photo is in the woods kind of using the Frisbee golf ring like I said.

My picture is framing because the trees are framing the canoes.

Framing is like a border that surrounds a center object like for instance my picture the trees are framing the canoes.

The location of my photo is out by the pond and I got down to the level of the canoes and kind sat in a bush.

Leading Lines

This is a picture of the volleyball net and its leading lines because the bottom of the volleyball net is leading to where the referee stands.
















When I saw the stairs I wanted them to be my image for leading lines. I really did not know how to do it at first but then I thought maybe I could zoom in on the stairs and hopefully the image would work out like I wanted and it did.What I was doing when I took this picture was just walking around thinking this is going to be really difficult to do. That's when I came across the photo I wanted to post because not only does it have a really cool background, but it also worked for my leading lines.Now what I think about this picture is that I could have worked a little harder. What I mean is that I could have actually maybe got down on the level of the stairs and maybe I could have worked on the lighting or the manual setting of the photo.That probably would have made my stairs really stick out.

This picture is birds eye view because its shot from an up point of view.
